Recommendations

You will need to come in shape.  There will be miles of hiking and possibly some jogging involved.

Bring a gun that you are comfortable with and can shoot accurately.  In many cases an accurate shot will be required while the dogs bay the pig.

Hunters must understand that boar hunting is a very dangerous sport.   Wild hogs have been known to charge when under pressure.  Hunters have suffered serious injury and in rare circumstances have been killed while hunting boar.  You will be hunting on hazardous terrain with streams, rivers, cliffs and abandoned mines in your path.
